In the 2006/07 season, German pianist Herbert Schuch played Beethoven concertos N° 4 and 5 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Yannick Nezet-Seguin as well as under Pierre Boulez at the Wiener Musikverein. He performed at the opening ceremony of the Klavier Festival Ruhr and debuted at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Konzerthaus Dortmund and the Tonhalle Zurich.
